11/20/2024 MEC Update: TA Has Been Ratified KEWMECUpdate MEC Update A message from your KEW Master Executive Council November 20, 2024 Fellow pilots, The voting window for Tentative Agreement 1 (TA1) is now closed. We are pleased to report the TA has been ratified. Of the 84% percent of eligible pilots who cast ballots, 89% percent voted in favour of ratifying our first Collective Agreement (CA1). The improvements outlined in this agreement bring Keewatin pilots in line with industry peers and establish a solid foundation for us to layer on, as each subsequent agreement will build on the successes of this one. Thank you to the hard work of the Negotiating Committee along with ALPA staff for assisting and accompanying us on this journey, but most of all, we want to thank you, the pilots, for overwhelmingly participating in this democratic process. More details surrounding implementation will be released in the next few weeks.
