4/13/2024 MEC Update: Negotiating Committee, ALPA Dues, and more... KEWMECUpdate MEC Update A message from your KEW Master Executive Council April 13, 2024 Fellow pilots, Negotiating Committee Update Your MEC and Negotiating Committee met with the Company recently for our first round of negotiations. We are pleased to share that some progress was made in getting our members their first industry-standard Collective Agreement. We feel the discussions have been positive, and hopefully, can expect further progress when we meet again June 6 and 7 in Winnipeg. ALPA Dues Your MEC approached ALPA Canada in regards to our members paying membership dues prior to signing their first Collective Agreement. The decision was made to cease all further dues payments until our first contract is ratified. Your previously paid dues should have been reimbursed on your March 28th paycheque.
