1/17/2025 KEW MEC Update: CA1 KEWMECUpdate MEC Update A message from your KEW Master Executive Council January 17, 2025 Fellow pilots, As many of you are aware, our recent March schedule did not reflect the terms of Collective Agreement 1 (CA1) for seniority bidding and has created a disturbance among our members. According to Article 6.04 of CA1: A Pilot may provide to the Chief Pilot or their designate a completed bid in a form determined by the Company indicating the Pilot’s preference for base assignment and equipment. This bid may be changed by the Pilot at any time by submitting a superseding bid. The Pilot should retain a dated and signed copy of the bid for their personal records. Only those bids on file at the time that the Pilot schedule is prepared will be considered. The Company will endeavour to schedule Pilots according to their submitted bid based on seniority, subject to the requirements and efficiency of operations. The MEC understands the concerns surrounding this problem and has reached out to Management to try and immediately rectify the situation. We have attached the most recent Seniority List so you can confirm your seniority status. We will provide further updates as they become available. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to email keewatinpilots@alpa.org with any questions or concerns.
