Fellow pilots,

In this update, we want to highlight the following:
  • ALPA Canada Podcast
  • ALPA Canada Photo Contest

ALPA Canada Podcast

The next episode of the ALPA Canada Podcast is available for listen and includes some important information.

As ALPA Canada approaches the tail end of 2024, bargaining efforts continue, on behalf of our members at Keewatin, Pascan, Pivot, and Air Inuit.

Planning also continues for the 2nd annual Parliament Hill lobby day, where pilot leaders from across the association make their way to Parliament Hill to meet with government policy makers to discuss a variety of topics of importance to our membership.

For more information on this, and many other topics of interests for members, including the recent ALPA Canada board meetings, please have a listen to the latest ALPA Canada Podcast.

To listen, please click here: ALPA Canada Podcast.

Alternatively, you can search for APLA Canada podcasts on your favourite podcast platform (search: “ALPA Canada Podcast”).

ALPA Canada Photo Contest

After the success of our request for photo submissions, last year, for use across multiple platforms, including ALPA Canada’s social media channels, an upcoming issue of Air Line Pilot magazine, and the alpacanada.ca website, we are asking pilots to submit any interesting photographs featuring aircraft and/or pilots, or any other general aviation shots that look interesting. For each photo we ask that you include a photo credit and caption. If a pilot is in the photo, please include their name/status (i.e., Capt B737, F/O B787), and equipment details for the aircraft.

Submissions can be made, by November 1st, to the ALPA Canada Senior Communications Coordinator, Robert Lynch, via email: Robert.Lynch@alpa.org
