Since joining ALPA last year, your Negotiating Committee and MEC have worked tirelessly to ensure we secure a contract that lays a strong foundation for future bargaining. I want to personally thank Captain Fraser Mackeen and Captain Matt Caissie for their personal sacrifices of time away from their families and responsibilities. I am proud of their dedication and perseverance to help in achieving this TA.

Your Negotiating Committee wanted to share an important update as we work to sign our first Tentative Agreement (TA) under ALPA.
As you are aware, we, your MEC, agreed with Management to a 60 Day LOU for Extra Days (over time) for all Keewatin pilots that began on June 13, 2024. As part of the LOU, the extra day pay had been increased to 1.5X the regular day rate for all Keewatin pilots.
This is a reminder of the important survey we have sent out for all of you to complete. We appreciate your feedback and assistance in completing this survey, as it will assist your MEC and Negotiating Committee as our negotiations continue.
